| Before creating a transfer request, please note the following: |
- A domain name cannot be transferred in the first 60 days of registration.
- A domain name cannot be transferred once it's expired.
- A Domain Name Transfer Requires Transfer Authentication Code which you can retrieve from Domain Management Panel or from Your Domain Service Provider.
- After creating a transfer request, we will e-mail the current domain contacts to validate the transfer request. In addition, many "losing" registrars will also validate the transfer request via e-mail. So to ensure a successful transfer, you will need access to at least one of the e-mail accounts listed in the WHOIS for the name.
- You can check the expiry date and the e-mail address using this WHOIS tool.
